Shafagh-e Yazd pharmaceutical company with the aim of producing solid production line was registered in 2004. It applied for building permits to construct a factory in Yazd. But because of the economic downturns and financial issues, the project remained suspended. In 2008, followed by a shortage of some medicines Yazd, the Subject of distributing medicine was added to the company statutes and the purpose of the company was changed from production to distribution.
